About Me
This is the official website of Ben Shoemate - a professional web user experience designer, developer, producer, architect, and consultant (I’ll define all that later). Ben formally worked for Studio Interactive, a Dallas based Design firm which was purchased in 1999 by PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting, which in turn was purchased by IBM Global Services. These days I am helping my clients with adapt their business strategy to the social web era, working with Atlassian Confluence, and have started a new creative agency and software firm fellow web guru Cody Burleson.
Like everyone else, I’m still learning, experimenting, and philosophizing about this incredible, collective creation of mankind we call “the Internet”. You can experiment with me by joining in the conversation – its happening on my blog, on LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter, Google Reader Shared Items, Friendfeed and everywhere else I roam.
Burleson Technology Group
In 2007, Cody Burleson and I started Burleson Technology Group a web production, consulting, and development company. I am currently spending most of my time trying to grow this company.
